I did not have the pleasure of meeting Arynn & Rish prior to their wedding day. I only had a phone conversation with them and a few emails back and forth. I was slightly nervous for their wedding because I didn’t even know how to begin trying to pronounce Rish’s full name and I knew there would be a lot more of his family members that I would not be able to as well. But after my first phone conversation with these 2, I was completely at ease. They are both so sweet and fun and easy to get along with. Rish assured me that everyone was used to having their names pronounced wrong and would not take it personally.

I started the day off meeting Arynn and her lovely bridesmaids at the beautiful Omni William Penn in downtown Pittsburgh. As soon as I met Arynn I knew we were going to get along perfectly. We had similar styles and opinions on a lot of things. She was so beautiful in her dress and so were the rest of the bridal party. Arynn’s sister had the task of lacing her corset style dress. She did an amazing job considering the pressure of everyone watching her and Arynn being anxious to begin her day. Once all laced up, everyone was quick to get out of the hotel on on their way to the church.

I met Rish for the first time at St.Therese Church in Munhall. He was accompanied by all his Groomsmen, and they were just as anxious as the ladies were to get started. They were the most behaved bridal party I have ever worked with! I met Rish’s Mother at the church entrance, and she couldn’t wait to see her son and give him her well wishes.
As the mothers were escorted to their seats, I could already tell this was going to be a tear jerker of a ceremony. Two very different families, cultures, and backgrounds becoming one. Two individuals bringing this all together. Two people who genuinely love each other, working through all the diversities and joining into one family. This was a very special day. I am so happy to have been able to witness this beautiful wedding and be a part of it. I barely knew Arynn & Rish and I had a hard time keeping myself together as she made her way down the aisle.

Mr. & Mrs. Sen Gupta were presented to everyone. They were so happy to be married, I don’t think Rish stopped smiling the rest of the night!

Immediately following the ceremony, we headed downtown to the Pitt campus, and took some photos inside the Cathedral of Learning. We had to keep it together and be extra quiet because there were students inside studying. Every photo I took I loved more than the last. I could’ve photographed these two all evening!

Arynn & Rish had chosen the Rivers Club for their wedding reception. It was beautiful inside. The purple uplights put just the right finishing touches on the room. They shared their first dance as husband and wife, and their first meal as husband and wife.  Both families were very excited to have been a part of such a special day, and both families were eager to celebrate all night long!

Arynn & Rish not only had a traditional wedding here in Pittsburgh, but also are having a wedding in Dubai. This is amazing to me, not just planning one wedding, but two! They are so lucky to have found each other and I wish them all the best in their journey ahead. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect couple to work with and I hope to keep in touch with them and hear about their second wedding celebration across the globe!
